Glow From the Inside Out: Honoring Cervical Awareness Month

At Bailee Rose Cosmetics, our mission has always been rooted in more than just "surface-level" beauty. Founded by a registered nurse, we believe true radiance comes from a place of health, education, and self-care. While we love talking about skincare and makeup, this January we want to discuss something more vital: Cervical Cancer Awareness.

 Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable types of cancer, yet according to the Centers of Disease Control (CDC) each year in the United States about 13,000 new cases of cervical cancer are diagnosed and there are approximately  4000 women die of cancer. Because we care about your skin, the largest organ in.the body and the amazing person inside it, we're using our platform to share life-saving information and encourage our community to prioritize our wellness.

Why Awareness Matters

In 2026, the message is clearer than ever: early detection saves lives. Here is a few facts that every member of Bailee Rose Cosmetics Family should know:

• It's preventable: Through HPV vaccination and regular screening ( pap smear tests and HPV testing), prevention of cervical cancer is your first line of defense
• Early Detection is Key: When detected early the five year survival  rate is over 90%.
• The Power of Screening: For women with a cervix regular screening begins at 21. Whether it is a pap test every 3 years or HPV testing every 5 years, staying on schedule is your "glow up" to good health. Please check with your provider to see which test and intervals of testing is good for you.
